This Privacy Policy explains how Petshot Pro (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and safeguards your personal data. The data controller is Preetam Nath, India.

- Account Data: email and auth identifiers.
- Payment Data: billing details handled by Dodo Payments.
- User Content: uploaded pet photos and generated images.
- Usage Data: IP address, device/browser details, log time‑stamps.
- Cookies: session, preference and analytics cookies.
2. How We Use Your Data
- Provide and maintain the Service.
- Process payments and prevent fraud.
- Generate AI images and deliver files.
- Improve and debug the Service (opt‑in for model‑training).
- Send transactional emails; marketing only with consent.
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. Legal Bases under GDPR
We rely on contract necessity for core service delivery, legitimate interest for security and analytics, consent for marketing/model‑training, and legal obligation for compliance.
4. Sub‑Processors
The vendors below (“Sub‑Processors”) handle personal data or user content on behalf of Petshot Pro. We maintain data‑processing agreements and review each provider’s security controls.

We use these vetted vendors to provide the Service. This list is provided for transparency and does not grant additional rights beyond those in our Terms of Service.
5. International Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to, and processed in, countries outside your own (including the EU and United States). We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards where required.
By using the Service, you acknowledge and consent to this international transfer of your personal data.
6. Data Retention
- Uploads & outputs: All uploaded pet images and generated AI pet portraits are stored in Cloudflare R2 and will be deleted after 30Â days (or sooner on request). Please download your portraits before this 30-day expiry. We are not responsible for any data loss.
- Account & transaction data: account lifetime + 24Â months.
- Analytics logs: 12Â months.
Notwithstanding the periods above, we may retain certain data as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes or enforce our agreements. Backup copies stored in secure archives may persist for up to 90Â days before automatic purge.
7. Security Measures
We implement technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS 1.2/1.3, and data at rest benefits from the built‑in encryption of our cloud vendors (e.g., Cloudflare R2, Neon). Internally we enforce least‑privilege access, staff authentication controls, and routine, encrypted backups. We aim to notify affected users of any reportable data breach within 72 hours of discovery. No internet or storage system is 100 % secure; therefore we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights
You can access, correct, delete, restrict or export your data, and withdraw consent at any time. Email us to exercise these rights.
9. Cookies & Tracking
We use first‑party cookies for sessions and anonymous analytics. Disabling cookies may impact functionality.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not intended for, or directed at, individuals under 18Â years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as we add or change vendors. Significant changes will be announced on this page and/or via email at least 14Â days before they become effective.
